Night School

Oh boy, here I go again, wasting my money. Look out it's another Kevin Hart movie! That says everything you need to know about the film. But this is about Teddy (Kevin Hart) who sucks at life and decides to go get his GED to not suck at life in a hack plot written by Kevin Hart. He learns the value of an education while trying to balance one dumb plot line and another. Check It ouuuuuut!

I am so sick of seeing Kevin Hart in movies. I don't have anything against him, it's just that he does the same thing in every movie: terrible comedy improv stretched out for as long as possible, some crazy stunt that makes fun of his size, and Kevin Hart screaming. It's really damn repetitive.

This film was made for 30 million and I don't see why because this film was shot so flat. Every shot is wide, flat, and so uninteresting. Also the ADR and sound is some of the worst I've seen recently. There are scenes where someone says something, but they're lips are clearly not saying that.

This is the type of film with nothing but dumb, conventional cliques that have been used thousands of times. The structure and story is so basic. It feels like the type of film made on a factory line or a computer algorithm and studios just shove "this kind of movie" out just to make a quick buck. This film is the equivalent of a rice cake with Kevin Hart spread on top.

I also cringed a lot at this film. The comedy and just the film itself was so cringe worthy that I almost left, but it wasn't torturous for me. It was just really boring with an occasional cringe. The film was so boring that the guy next to me was watching a more interesting film on his phone.

This film did not receive my worst grade because I was not tortured and because I laughed once when Rob Riggle fell off a building and landed back first onto a railing. Tiffany Haddish was the best part even though I found her to be annoying at times, but she obviously has the most talent out of this entire cast. Speaking of which, there is lots of bad acting in this film as well. Mostly given to minor characters though.
