I, Frankenstein
/"I am like no other."
Filmology Rating: 2 out of 4
This could have been a great movie, with a bit of help on the dialogue and a little more suspense. "I, Frankenstein" sounds like it was written for a five year old, and many things are spelled out for the viewers throughout the film, where a bit of mystery could have added something to hold my interest a bit longer. Some of the gargoyles and demons look very cool, and some of them look like their CG was done in 1998.
The story of Frankenstein's monster is a well-known one, with many different manifestations over the years. This one includes the mythologies of gargoyles, angels, and demons as well. There is a lot of potential in this combination, and I was hoping to see something more intricate than what was presented. Overall, however, the film is entertaining and made me laugh a few times.
